Here's the list:
Mixed Media Pad- Canson Brand at Walmart and I think Fred's has one as well but maybe Strathmore Brand
Craftsmart Paint Sticks-This is a less messy option for those of you who do not want paint in the house. You will have to order these online from Michaels. They do offer different sizes.
Ice Cube Tray with snap tight lid- This is for paint storage if you go the paint route. It will save you paint waste.
AstroBright Card Stock Black and White- I get this at Walmart. I like this paper. It takes most mediums well. Not so much watercolor but oil pastels paint and chalk is all good.
Chalk Pastels- I had a hard time finding these at Walmart or Fred Meyer. If you can order these from Michaels or amazon that would be awesome. https://www.amazon.com/Mungyo-Square-Pastel-Assorted-B441R078-7003A/dp/B01HFJJLNU/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=chalk+pastels&qid=1586209784&sr=8-4
Oil Pastels-Crayola brand is fine. They sell these at Fred's or Walmart, Michael's or Amazon. These are not expensive.
Acrylic Paints- Colors that I love: Cadmium Yellow Light, Cadmium Yellow Medium, Cadmium Red Medium, Magenta, Ultramarine or Cobalt Blue, Phthalocyanine Green and Phthalocyanine Blue, Black and White. Optional for Browns: Raw umber, and Burnt Sienna.
Things to keep at home for basics:
Washable Markers ( you can dip a paint brush in water and turn washables into water color)
Crayons (if you don't have oil pastels you can substitute them with these)
